Physical Description:
Above-average athlete with a medium frame with minimal remaining
projection.
Hit: Starts open with his
hands high. Leg lift timing device. Quick hands. Dropped his
hands to try and hit for more power in college in 2024 and
struggled, hitting a bunch of popups and weak fly balls.
Returned to his pre-2024 mechanics after getting assigned to
Greenville, but really struggled. Has a solid approach and
rarely chases. Will take a walk. Has upside with his hit tool if he can return to his
pre-2024 form. One of the highest variance hit tools in the
system.
Power: Average raw power. Power
shows best to the pull side. Swing is at its best when he works
gap-to-gap, but will flash over-the-fence pop and
average-to-better exit velocities. Ability to tap into raw power
depends on how his hit tool develops.
Run:
Above-average speed. Solid baserunning instincts.
Field: Average defensive profile. Played
primarily the corner outfield in his debut, but also got in a
few games at center field. Moves well and does a good job
tracking the ball. |

Arm: Average arm. Showed a decent amount of
variance in his throws in looks in 2024, as some were
above-average, while others were below-average.
Career Notes: Uncle played football at Auburn and for
the Philadelphia Eagles. Was a Cape Cod League All-Star while
playing for Brewster in 2023. Was considered a top 100 draft
prospect entering 2024, but really struggled after attempting to
tweak his swing to hit for more power and saw his stock fall.
Missed the start of the 2025 season with a right hamate injury.
Began the 2025 season on the 60-day injured list with a broken
hamate bone. Promoted to Double-A to start the 2026 season.
Summation: Wide range of outcomes after he
changed his swing. Has an up-the-middle defensive profile and
athleticism teams covet, but future potential is tied up in
where his hit tool goes.
