Physical Description:
Average-sized frame. Filled out lower half. No
remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws
from a low-three-quarters arm slot. Pitches from the stretch at
all times. Will move to different sides of the rubber to change
his release point, even to the same batter. Began
throwing exclusively from a low three-quarters arm slot in the
Mexican winter league in 2024. Began varying arm angles in 2023
to be able to most effectively throw his sinker after spending
most of his pitching career at a more typical three-quarters
slot. Falls off towards third base following release.
Fastball: 93-95 mph. Tops out at 97 mph. Throws
both sinker and four-seam variations. Sinker is primary offering
and is used down in the zone to generate weak contact on the
ground. Four-seam has slightly more velocity and is thrown
primarily up in the zone. Showed more velocity in the past,
hitting triple-digits. Fringy command and control profile.
Average potential offering.
Cutter: 88-91 mph. Short, horizontal break.
Fringe-average potential offering.
Sweeper: 79-82 mph. Long, horizontal break.
Used primiarily against right-handed hitters. Has shown
confidence in and ability to miss bats with the pitch. Potential
above-average offering.
Changeup: 78-81 mph. Late fade down and away
from left-handed hitters. Primary secondary pitch against
left-handers. Potential fringe-average offering.

Summation: Solid organizational depth arm.
Ceiling of an up-and-down multi-inning depth arm. Journeyman who changed his arm
slot to great success in winter ball in 2024. Early adopter and
avid proponent of advanced pitch analytics and is willing to
constantly adjust and investigate how he can
improve his arsenal. Will change looks to attack hitters in
unorthodox ways, moving on the rubber and changing arm slots.
