Physical Description: Medium, athletic frame.
Sturdy build, no remaining projection.
Mechanics:
Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot starting on the third
base side of the rubber. Rhythmic, controlled delivery. Minimal
wasted movement. Repeats delivery well. Works quickly. Medium
leg kick. Short arm hook behind and clean coming forward. Comes
across his body.
Fastball: 89-91 mph.
Pitch shows sink down in the zone. Above-average command and
control profile. Not a bat-missing pitch, more designed to get
ahead or generate weak contact early in at-bats on pitches on
the edge or off the plate. Potential below-average offering.
Changeup: 81-84 mph. Advanced feel. Shows
late fade and drop. Throws with a deceptive arm speed and is
able to pull the string on it. Able to land in the zone or bury
down and out when looking for whiffs. Best pitch when looking
for whiffs. Potential average offering.

Slider: 79-82 mph. Short, two-plane breaker.
Throws frequently, largely to get ahead. Solid feel and can
command within the zone. Not much of a bat-missing pitch, more
designed to generate weak contact. Potential fringe-average
offering.
Career Notes: Grew up in
Hanover, Mass. as a Red Sox fan and attended BC High. Played for
Harwich in the Cape Cod League in 2023. Transferred to North
Carolina to face better competition after an excellent sophomore
season at Elon. Struggled a bit in the preseason at UNC and had
to be shut down to build arm strength. Had reverse splits in
college.
Summation: Projects as an
organizational depth arm. Fastball quality limits upside, but is
the type of arm every system needs. Strong pitchability and
command and control profile. Changeup is best offering and
allows him to be effective against right-handed hitters and
neutralize any platoon advantage. Capable of pitching in any
role and providing length when needed.
