Physical
Description: Average-framed right-hander with minimal remaining
projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a
low-three-quarters arm slot. Compact delivery with effort. Low
leg kick. Stays balanced. Drop and drive with elbows high in
delivery. Delivery is off-putting, especially to right-handed
hitters.
Fastball: 90-92 mph. Tops out
at 94 mph. Heavy pitch with late sink. Tends to throw down in
the zone, looking for groundballs. Sinking fastball that he
comes across and tries to keep down in the zone. Very
inconsistent control. Has really struggled to throw strikes in
2022. Potential fringe-average pitch.
Slider:
78-81 mph. Horizontal, sweeping breaking ball. Lacks depth.
Throws often, but is inconsistent and will sometimes roll to the
plate. Potential average offering.
Changeup:
81-83 mph. Has good separation from his fastball. Pitch shows late
fade. Potential fringe-average offering.

Notes: Participated in Fall Instructional League in
2019 and 2020. Participated in the Fall Performance Program in
2021.
Summation: Potential
organizational depth arm capable of working multiple innings or
giving a spot start. Ceiling of solid organizational arm.
Capable of working short or longer outings, and even starting
for stretches when necessary, providing useful versatility.
Throws strikes and projects for an average fastball/changeup
combination. Keeps the ball down and generates a lot of ground
balls. Delivery is off-putting, especially to right-handed
hitters.
