Scouting Report:
Jorge Rodriguez is a Colombian pitcher with a 93-94 mph fastball and
average breaking pitches. He pitched three years in the Latin leagues
after signing with the Red Sox at 18. Has physically matured a great
deal since signing. Skipped right to Greenville in 2007,
he failed to impress much, so he was assigned to short season ball in
2008. Struggled with control problems, but kept batters at bay for
the most part.
