Physical Description: Tall,
extra large frame at 6-7, 235 pounds. Solid overall pitcher's build - looks the part. No remaining projection.
Mechanics: Left-hander starts on the first base side of
the rubber, high leg kick. Clean, easy delivery from a
three-quarter arm slot. Falls to the third base side following
release. Solid extension and break.
Fastball:
92-95 mph with solid control. Has topped out at 97 mph. Throws
strikes and gets whiffs. Uses the pitch about 70% of the time.
Secondaries: Work in progress slider with
bat missing ability. Show-me changeup is used about 10% of the
time.

Career Notes: Drafted by
Oakland in the tenth round in 2021. Pitched in one game in the
Arizona Complex League that season, then missed most of the 2022
season with an injury. Struggled through control issues in Low-A
in 2023. Released by Oakland in May 2024 after 4 games in
High-A. Signed with Boston in June 2024. Solid showing in the
FCL and with Salem in 2024 during his age 21 season. Pitched for
Cangrejeros de Santurce in the Puerto Rican Winter League during
the 2024-25 off-season.
Summation:
Profiles as a mid-minors depth arm with some promising
characteristics. Ceiling of an organizational starter. Needs to
show out at an age-appropriate level. Secondaries are both a
work in progress.
