Scouting Report:
Small athletic frame, no remaning projection. Slight toe tap
timing mechanism, uppercut swing. Fringe-average hit tool. Will
not
chase balls outside the zone but will swing and miss at strikes.
Struggles against spin and high velocity. Fringe-average raw
power, average speed. Best suited for second or third base.
Smooth glove, good footwork. Lacks range and quickness to play
short on a regular basis. Was a pleasant surprise as a bench
utility infielder in 2023, but struggled in 2024 before being
designated for assignment and ultimately traded to the Mets for
cash considerations. Up-and-down bench infielder.
