Description: Powerful and athletic frame that has filled out
significantly since he entered the system. Mature body with a thick,
muscular lower half and minimal remaining physical projection.
Hit: Switch hitter with similar swing mechanics from both
sides of the plate. Open stance with a leg kick. Swing can get long. Hit
tool has fringe-average potential. Passable approach and plate discipline,
but can get caught chasing breaking balls too often. Has greatly improved
his pitch recognition since he entered the organization.
Power: Solid-average raw power, but only plays as
fringe-average in-game. Has shown the ability to drive the ball with

the arm to play right field and could play a passable center field, though
not in an everyday role.
Field: Good instincts
and solid range in the outfield. Average defensive potential, profile best
suited for a corner.

Career Notes: Suffered a stress fracture in his left
tibia after fouling a ball off his leg in May 2014 and missed the rest of
the season. Returned for Fall Instructional League and winter ball, but
was noticeably slower while rehabbing the injury. Also played soccer prior
to committing to baseball.
