Physical Description:
Extra-large frame with some remaining projection. Athletic for
his size.
Mechanics: Throws from a
high-three-quarters arm slot. Starts on the third base side of
the rubber. High leg kick, vertical release. Stays straight up
throughout his delivery. Short arm swing behind where he hides
the ball well. Cuts across his body and lands hard.
Fastball: 92-95 mph. Topped out at 97 mph in
college. Pitch has life up. Throws strikes. Hard to pick up,
especially for right-handed hitters. Shows natural cut. Has the
frame to add velocity. Potential above-average offering.
Cutter: 87-89 mph. Short, horizontal break.
Weak contact pitch that he can consistently locate in the zone.
Potential fringe-average offering.
Curveball:
79-83 mph. Solid feel. Vertical shape with solid bite and depth
at its best. Will occasionally throw a sweepier version with
more tilt than depth. Potential average offering. |

Changeup: 82-83 mph. Work in progress. Lacks
feel and ability to locate it competitively. Potential
well-below-average offering.
Career
Notes: Excelled as the closer for Cowley County
Community College and was committed to transfer to Texas A&M
before signing. Received an overslot $500,000 bonus as an
11th-round pick in 2025.
Summation:
Physical right-hander with a deceptive delivery and intriguing
present stuff. Provides a unique look with his vertical arm slot
and has a viable fastball/slider combination. Pitched in relief
in junior college; likely to begin his career working in longer
outings, at least to start.
