Scouting Report:
Durable, mature frame with wide shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Mechanically, relies on a funky, deceptive, crossfire delivery,
dropping and driving down the mound. Throws from a low-three-quarters arm
slot. Arsenal includes a heavy, 93-96 mph sinker with intense
arm-side run and a short, 82-84 mph slider that misses
bats. Strike thrower that pounds the zone. Former New Jersey
high school Player of the Year and Rawlings Gold Glove winner.
Low-mileage college arm who pitched out of the bullpen all three
seasons at Vanderbilt.
