Physical Description: Average frame, minimal projection. Athletic, moves well.

Mechanics: Starts on the third base side of the rubber and throws sidearm. Effort in delivery, harsh arm action. Average arm speed. Deceptive against right-handed hitters due to arm slot.

Fastball: 86-88 mph. Tops out at 89 mph. Pitch shows natural sink. Advanced command and control. Always around the strike zone, rarely walks hitters. Keeps the ball down. Below-average potential.

Slider: 75-77 mph. Slurvy breaking ball that lacks tilt. Sweepy, horizontal movement. Average potential.

Career Notes: One of the NCAA leaders in appearances during the 2015 season at the University of North Carolina.

Summation: Projects as a minor league relief arm. Arm slot is especially tough on right-handers, but stuff is below-average, limiting upside. Doesn’t have a pitch to get left-handed hitters out consistently. Because of command and control profile and deception, should serve as a solid organizational arm.
