Physical Description:
Medium frame with some remaining projection. High-waisted.
Mechanics:
Clean, balanced 3/4 delivery.
Good pitchability. Average control and command.
Curveball:
Uses his plus 75-77 mph biting
curveball in any situation against both righties and lefties.
Pitch generates a lot of ugly swings and misses
Fastball:
Pitches his curveball off of his
88-91 mph four-seam fastball which has slight sinking action but
not much movement otherwise. Mixes in an occasional
mid-80s cutter.
Slider: Low 80s slider
with some depth.

Changeup:
80-82 mph changeup to keep hitters
off balance.
Career
Notes:
Spent entire career in Tigers'
system before being acquired by Boston in January 2020. Has yet
to show success at the major league level.
Summation:
Profiles as an up-and-down
reliever with a chance to stick in the back of the bullpen. Also
could be a bulk follower option for a second division club.
