Physical Description:
Large, filled-out frame. Powerful lower half. Looks the part.
Hit: Starts slightly open and has a leg
kick timing device. Very quick wrists. Gets good torque from his
lower half. Swing can get long. Swing is strength-based. Pitch
recognition is a major issue. Will expand the zone and struggles
to pick up secondary pitches early. Lot of swing-and-miss in his
game and more of a guess hitter. Hits the ball extremely hard
when he makes contact and can punish mistakes. Well
below-average hit tool.
Power:
Plus-to-better raw power. Can really drive the ball, especially
to the pull side against left-handed pitchers. Plus game power
potential, but unlikely to reach that potential due to his hit
tool issues.
Run: Below-average speed.
Will likely get slower as he continues to mature physically.
Field: Below-average defensive profile.
Originally a right fielder, now better suited for first base and
appears to have moved to the position full time in June 2024
after continuing to play some outfield in the first two months
of the season. Still learning first base and footwork and hands
are works in progress.

Arm:
Fringe-average arm strength.
Career Notes:
Signed to the third-highest bonus in Red Sox 2018 international
free agent class. Showed significant home run pop in the DSL in
2019. Participated in the Fall Instructional League in 2019 and
2020. Participated in the 2021 Fall Performance Program. Set
Greenville Drive record for career home runs in 2024. Was
selected by Kansas City in the minor league phase of the
December 2024 Rule 5 Draft.
Summation: Potential mid-minors organizational
player. Ceiling of a high-minors organizational player. Fun
player to watch who has standout power and connects well with
minor league crowds. Lack of hit tool and baseball feel limits
upside, but ability to punish mistakes and all-out approach is
fun to watch.
