  Scouting Report: Large frame. Effortful delivery. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Once sat 94-97 mph with his fastball, but was only pitching in the low 90s in 2025 Spring Training. Low-90s sinker, mid-80s slider, 86-89 mph changeup. Former Rookie of the Year and All-Star. After initial MLB success as a starter, moved to the bullpen in 2021 and had a minor career resurgence. Had UCL revision surgery in October 2023. Signed a two-year minor league contract with the Red Sox in February 2024 and spent the 2024 season rehabbing in Fort Myers. Reportedly works as a plumber in the offseason. Received an invitation to 2025 MLB Spring Training.
