  Physical Description: Large-framed backstop with major league experience.

Hit: Below-average hit tool. Pull heavy.

Power: Above-average raw power with an uppercut swing. Power pops in game, but won't mash because he won't hit for average.

Run: Well below-average speed.

Field: Above-average defensively.  Calls a good game.

Arm: Above-average to plus arm.		   Career Notes: Drafted by the Dodgers in 2008 but did not signed, enrolled at Arizona. Played for Y-D in the Cape Cod League in 2010. Spent six seasons in the Angels' system. Has spent time several seasons in the MLB as a backup or emergency depth catcher. Played at the Alternate Training Site in 2020 and was often used as the MLB taxi squad catcher. Declared for free agency in November 2020 but re-signed with Boston in February 2021. Opened 2021 at the Alternate Training Site.

Summation: Ceiling of an MLB backup. Good asset to have in Triple-A for major league depth.
