Physical Description: Tall,
medium frame. Has gotten stronger since he signed, but has also
gotten less athletic.
Hit:
Switch-hitter. Starts in a squatted stance with the bat on his
shoulder before coming up as the pitcher comes to the plate.
Starts wide and uses a leg kick timing device from the left
side. Starts more narrow from the right side and uses a toe tap.
Active hands in his load. Has a pronounced arm bar from the left
side and looks less natural. Average bat speed. Has some feel
for the strike zone already, but needs to make more consistent
contact on pitches in the zone. Has really struggled with
professional pitching, particularly against offspeed and
breaking pitches. Potential well below-average hit tool.
Power: Shows above-average raw power from both
sides, but slightly more from the right side. Potential for more
power as he physically matures. Ability to get to his power in
games is going to depend largely on his ability to make more and
better contact.
Run: Below-average
present speed. Not a fluid runner. Instincts could use
improvement. Could tick down further as he physically matures.

Field: Drafted as a shortstop but has played
much more third base than shortstop as a pro, and played third
base exclusively in spring training 2025. Is tall for the middle
infield and while he is fluid in the field, does not have the
fast twitch movement typical for shortstop. Has some trouble
charging the ball and only average range, but has soft hands and
solid actions at third base. Potential average defender.
Arm: Plus arm strength. Plenty for the left
side of the infield. Topped out in the low-90s on the mound in
high school.
Career Notes: Spent
considerable time on the showcase circuit in high school. Played
for Team USA. Was committed to Georgia Tech before signing.
Participated in the 2023 Fall Performance Program. Played in
2024 Spring Breakout game.
Summation:
Potential mid-minors organizational infielder. Ceiling of an
up-and-down, power-first corner infielder. Long way to go
developmentally and has a wide range of outcomes. Took a step
back in 2024 from what he showed in his short 2023 professional
debut. Power-over-hit profile long-term, but faces significant
questions about whether he can hit professional pitching. Very
unlikely to stick in the middle infield so has a lot of pressure
on his bat to develop.
