Scouting Report: Right-handed outfielder with nice power and plate discipline. Average speed, but covers the the field in all three outfield positions well. Hasn't been overly impressive in limited major league time. Ambres was a threat n the basepaths in his earlier days (pre-2006), but has packed on some bulk since that time and a little bit of power, taking away from his athleticism.
