Scouting Report: High ¾ slot, rigid mechanics, with a pause in the middle of his deliver. Short, live arm. Reliever with a plus fastball. Sits mid-90s with late movement. Has previously topped out around 98-100 mph, but not with control. Also throws an above-average slider that clocks in around 84-88 mph. Excellent for Detroit in 2012, but issues with his mechanics in 2013 resulted in poor command and decreased velocity.
