Scouting Report: Fluid in the field with a great glove and nice range. Smart, fundamental player with a likeable disposition, making him a favorite of both his teammates and fans. Plays SS very well, and can play 2B or 3B in a pinch, just not as well.  On the other hand, his bat lacks pop.  Doesn't make enough good contact and has minimal power. However, he does manage to make pitchers work with his solid plate approach.  Not a big base stealing threat, but can run the bases well. May be able to make the grade as a major league utility player, but not likely for the Red Sox.
