Scouting Report: Lanky right-hander signed out of the independent American Association in March 2011. Could stand to put on more weight. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot. Easy, balanced delivery with the ball loosely coming out of his hand. Fastball sits 92-93 mph and tops out at 95 mph. Creates sink by throwing downhill. Effective between the knees and thighs, but flattens out when elevated in the zone. Needs to improve with the consistency of his command. Also features a fringe-average 80-82 mph slider. Lacks crisp finish and sharp bite. Slider tends to roll at the tail-end of its approach to the plate, allowing batters to get a piece of it. Must improve depth created when snapping off the pitch to generate swings and misses. Raw pitcher overall due to time away from the game. Profiles as a reliever
