Scouting Report: Big lefty previously released by the Indians organization.  After some weight training in 2007, Loop got his fastball up to 92 mph.  Good location.  Also mixes in a decent changeup and an excellent cutter.   His curveball is coming along as well.  Outstanding pickoff move.  Utilized as both a starter and reliever after joining the organization in June 2008, but primarily used as a closer in 2009.   With some tweaks to his mechanics, it's believed that he has some major league potential.
