Scouting Report
: Good athlete, also played first base in Taiwan.  Signed for a $58,000 bonus.  When he signed, his fastball only topped out at 78 mph, but he has physically matured and as of spring 2007 his fastball reached 91 mph.  Missed 2007 season after June elbow surgery.  Lin has demonstrated decent control early in his pro career.  Good groundball numbers.  Nice splits against lefties.   Twin brother Wang-Wei Lin plays in the Twins organization.
