Scouting Report: Had a version of TJ Surgery in 2007 for a rare partial vertical tear of the UCL (as opposed to a horizontal tear), and actually returned to the mound in under five months. Large frame. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot, maybe slightly lower. Mechanics could probably still use some work. Complements a 88-91 mph sinker, with a nice high-70s slider.
