Scouting Report: Aussie import can play 1B and both corner OF spots adequately. Lanky frame, has room to bulk up and add a little bit more power. Dening is a confident, gritty player with a great overall approach to the game. Spray hitter with several years of international baseball experience. Makes excellent contact, some gap power. Good-looking swing, hits to all fields. Covers the outer half of the plate well. Hits lefties at a good clip. Slightly above-average speed. Strong arm. No tools are plus at this point. Always gives 100%.
