Released (June 2016)

Physical Description: Average frame with a solid lower half. Limited physical projection.

Mechanics: High three-quarters to over-the-top arm slot. Works from the third base side of the rubber. Rough delivery with effort. Drop and drive.

Fastball: 88-90 mph. Tops out at 91 mph. Two-seam action, but well below-average command and control.

Curveball: 74-78 mph. Slurvey, seems to get caught in between and slider and curveball. At the higher end of the velocity band pitch shows sharp 1-to-7 break. At the lower end, more of a 12-to-6 breaker.

Changeup:  85 mph. Firm, work in progress.

Career Notes: Spent two seasons with the Diamondbacks before the Red Sox signed him as a minor league free agent during Spring Training 2016.

Summation: Long way to go developmentally. Will struggle to reach High-A.
