Scouting Report: Signed as a 2B, Burgos bulked up and is now a full time 1B.   Huge legs, stocky build.  He has demonstrated some interesting hitting tools, including above average power and impressive plate discipline.  Unique batting approach with his hands held high with a lot of pre-pitch movement, and a squatting stance. As the pitch comes in, he uncoils and gets a nice extension on his swing.  Has had some trouble against lefty pitchers, and has a few holes in his swing.
