Scouting Report: Very strong 1B with above average present power and even higher power potential. Hits a lot of home runs to the opposite field. Excellent plate discipline and nice selective approach at the plate, but his swing is noticeably long and has a few holes.  He tends to jump at balls that are high and sometimes out of the zone. Above average glove at first, average to below average range.  Showed some improvement in 2007 in the field.  Hard worker with a laid back attitude, well liked and respected by his teammates.   Prepares well mentally and physically for each game.
