Scouting Report: Barnes spent 10 pro seasons as a journeyman outfielder, even reaching the majors, but in 2005 began his attempt at pitching.  Boston is tutoring him on the knuckleball.  Barnes now throws 90% knucklers at varying speeds from 60 - 75 mph, all typically with a good natural sink. Mixes in a below average fastball and an occasional curve.  Nice pickoff move.
