Bartolo Colon	Back	June 16th	Colon lasted only 4 innings in his last start and left the game with back stiffness.  Colon took some big swings at the plate and thinks he hurt it while swinging.   Colon has began long tossing from 120 feet, but has had some setbacks during his rehab. He has been rehabbing down at Pawtucket and is progressing with each start.	September
Julio Lugo	Quad	July 11th	Lugo has been placed on the DL with a possible quad tear.  Lugo had been rehabbing and progressing, but had a setback.  Time table for return is uncertain at the moment.	September
Mike Lowell	Oblique	August 12th	Lowell has been placed on the DL with an oblique strain.  He's been battling minor injuries for the last month or so.  Lowell  is back with the team, but there is still caution in regards to his return date	September

Anthony Rizzo	Hodgkin's Lymphoma	April 25th	Rizzo has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  After experiencing swelling in his ankle and inflammation in his kidney, Rizzo underwent a battery of tests at Mass General Hospital.  He has been getting treatment in Boston and will return home to Miami for more treatment.  Caught early, Rizzo is looking at a 6-8 month recovery time.	2009
Austin Bailey	Arm	April 7th	Bailey left his first start of the season with a shoulder injury.  After seeing the Dr, it's been confirmed he has a torn labrum..  Bailey did not have surgery on his shoulder and is currently rehabbing in Ft Myers.  Bailey could be throwing from the mound in the coming weeks.  He is expected to miss the rest of the season.	2009
Ryan Colvin	Shoulder	May 6th	Colvin has been placed on the DL after experiencing swelling in his right rotator cuff.   Colvin rested for a couple of weeks and had an MRI.  Results showed rotator cuff tendonitis. Colvin had resumed throwing in Florida, but has been shutdown for the rest of the season.	2009
